This research project integrated interviews with specific coffee farmers with publicly-available vector data and high-resolution CIR (color infra-red) imagery from the USDA NRCS. The software which I utilized for this project consisted of the following: data integration, reprojecting, and analysis (ESRI ArcGIS/ArcInfo/Spatial & 3D Analyst, GeoMedia, and AutoCAD Map), database technologies (MS Access and Oracle), remote sensing (ERDAS/Leica Geosystems Imagine & Orthobase), GPS (Trimble suite), and software development (ESRI Avenue and Visual Basic).
